Platter for two was excellent! Probably enough food for three. Can't wait to come back.
I highly recommend their Fahsa, a bubbling clay pot of shredded lamb and potato broth. It was flavorful, spiced and pairs super well with their fresh tandoor bread. Really enjoyed it. Also highly recommend to try their rice, super soft and flavorful with their roasted lamb on top. Yes the place is a little run down with higher than normal prices, and slightly inexperienced staff but in my opinion it's just one of those hole in the wall places that serve well. I can't attest to their other items but their Fahsa and lamb with rice is pretty solid.
The fact that this place is a running business with only 3 reviews made it worth trying. It is unassuming at first but as a Fahsa fanatic I had to come here. The lamb fahsa was well seasoned. It's one of the few yemeni places where they actually spice up the fahsa for you upon request. I had one with a piece of fresh bread. definitely one of the better places in the area.
Great spot. Family owned...by people who put care into their food and ensuring you have an enjoyable meal. Went with a group of people. Everyone got something different and everyone enjoyed what they had. Portion sizes were great. Love love the bread! Will be back.
